The symptoms seen in most skin diseases are similar. This situation can lead to some negativity, such as delayed diagnosis and incorrect treatment methods. Like all other diseases, skin diseases are very important. For this reason, it is important to treat skin diseases as seriously as all other diseases, and to take necessary measures for early diagnosis and treatment. Thus, treatment can be more successfully applied before the disease progresses.
Acne
acne The common name of the disease known in the society is acne. While it is seen intensively in many people in certain periods, it is observed in some people throughout their life. There are several factors that cause acne. In general, people develop acne as a result of blockage of the glands and hair follicles that are responsible for the production of oil under the skin for various reasons. In the human body, the increase in the production of sebum, which keeps the skin moist, leads to the death of unnecessary sebum cells. As a result, the formation of white or black dots is observed due to the compression of dead sebum cells in the pores.

Shingles occurs when the body is weakened. Herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus. It usually manifests itself in the form of sores in the mouth, lips and gums. These sores are fluid-filled, painful, and appear as masses. The herpes virus lives in the human body and remains in the body throughout its life. Like the shingles virus, the herpes virus also occurs when the body's resistance is reduced. Following the doctor's recommendations, the cream or ointment helps alleviate the disease.

Skin cancer is usually caused by the abnormal growth of skin cells in people exposed to the sun. But it doesn't just happen on the sun-exposed areas of the skin. Skin cancer can occur anywhere on the body. It is seen in three different forms such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Skin cancer can be prevented by reducing the duration of exposure to ultraviolet rays. Thus, the risk of skin cancer is reduced. When the sun is strong, going out in the sun without using body cream increases the risk. It is usually observed on the scalp, face, lips, ears, neck, chest, arms and hands that are in direct contact with the sun.
- In women, it occurs more often on the legs. In rare cases, there is a risk of skin cancer on the palms, fingernails and toenails.
- Studies have shown that people with fair skin color are more likely to get skin cancer. However, this does not mean that people with dark skin do not get skin cancer.
