A gynecologist deals with the treatment and prevention of diseases such as acute and chronic infectious-inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs (calpitis, endometritis, etc.), erosion of the cervix, benign tumors. Assists in the implementation of measures related to infertility and family planning.
Functional (USM, endoscopic and X-ray examinations) and laboratory (bacteriological, immunological and hormonal examinations) diagnostic methods are widely used in gynecology. The choice of the treatment method and the decision whether to carry out the treatment in an outpatient or inpatient setting depends on the unique characteristics of each clinical case.
