Laser treatment of tattoos

Tattoos are very fashionable nowadays. At a young age, tattoos look very fashionable and beautiful, but as you age, the beauty of the tattoo is lost due to the changes in the skin and it starts to get in the way. In a word, there is a need to get rid of tattoos.

Surgical, coagulation, and cryosurgical methods of tattoo removal are a thing of the past. Currently, the most effective method is the Q switched ND: Yag laser treatment method.

The course of the procedure

Laser treatment of tattoos is a modern and reliable method that does not leave any scars and marks, and allows to remove tattoos of any color. The procedure is bloodless and has no side effects.

Both tattoos and permanent makeup can be removed with the Q switched ND:Yag laser.

During the procedure, the laser breaks down the pigment in the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin layer by layer, while healthy cells are not damaged. After the procedure, pimento becomes lighter and is gradually removed from the skin through lymph. After 2-3 weeks, the pigment disappears without leaving a scar or stain.

It should be noted that each procedure cleans only the top layer of the pigment. Therefore, the number of procedures depends on the depth of the pigment. During the recovery period, there may be some edema and bleeding in the procedure area, but these symptoms pass without a trace.

The interval between procedures is 3-4 weeks. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and the use of Zimmer.

There is also an ablative ER:Yag laser treatment method for tattoos. The procedure is performed once. However, during this treatment method, a scar or pigmentation may remain in the procedure area after the procedure.
