Laser treatment of onychomycosis:
Neodymium laser ensures that the radiation penetrates both into the nail itself and up to the nail fungus. As a result, fungi are destroyed and complete sterilization occurs. Usually 8-15 sessions are needed. Break between procedures - 1 week. The procedure is painless, there may be a feeling of warmth and slight tingling. At the request of the patient, local anesthesia can also be used.
Complete healing occurs when the diseased nail is completely replaced by a healthy nail.
