POSTACNE
Postacne is the result of an incompetent (mostly mechanical) effect on acne.
The cause of acne is known to many people. Even the person with the most beautiful skin gets a few acne breakouts during puberty. But if acne, a more serious skin disease, occurs, appropriate treatment should be applied. Any self-treatment of acne and blackheads can lead to skin defects. Timely referral to a specialist will help not only to fight the disease, but also to prevent the formation of post-acne.
Symptoms of postacne:
Postacne is a complex of cosmetic defects caused by both seborrhea and acne, as well as self-treatment attempts.
Postacne refers to:
- Enlargement of pores
- Persistent erythema and dilated capillaries
- Unevenness of skin texture
- Stagnation spots
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and depigmentation
Enlarged pores - hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands leads to excessive secretion of sebum and accumulation in the ducts. It also includes external pollutants, cosmetic residue and dead skin cells. As a result, sebaceous glands harden, the stratum corneum thickens, and scars form. Therefore, the skin surface looks uneven.
Persistent erythema - Incorrect mechanical action on inflammatory sites, incompetent, arbitrary cleaning of papules, pustules, nodules and cysts, leads to the formation of bluish spots. Such spots can also appear after cleaning the infiltrate. The aesthetic condition of the skin deteriorates, spots and scars are more noticeable in cold weather. The condition can be corrected only with special treatment.
Scars - Scars are caused by the effects of some cosmetic methods on acne. Mechanical cleaning of the face, which leads to skin traumatization and disruption of blood circulation, causes a decrease in skin regeneration.
